Just in time for Brain Awareness Week, March 12-18, the McKnight Brain Institute is now offering America’s favorite brain pick-me-up. A new coffee vending machine, the Starbucks Interactive Cup e-Payment Brewer, offers Starbucks House Blend and a bolder blend called Caffe Verona. The brewer, located in the MBI ground floor lobby, also offers Starbucks Gourmet Hot Cocoa and four flavors of Tazo Tea: Awake, Earl Grey, Green Ginger and Calm. A 12-ounce cup from the brewer costs $1.60. At a Starbucks store, a 12-ounce cup costs $1.65 plus tax. The brewer currently accepts credit or debit cards and will soon accept Gator 1 cards.
