Welcome aboard!

More than 200 new residents, interns and fellows got a glimpse of life at UF&Shands, the University of Florida Academic Health Center, during a new resident open house June 27 in the Shands at UF Atrium. The Shands at UF Housestaff Affairs Office holds the open house each year for the physicians who will begin their training programs here at UF&Shands. With more than 60 different training programs and nearly 700 physicians-in-training in Gainesville, UF&Shands provides graduate medical education opportunities in research, trauma, cancer and many other medical specialties.
