Come on, Gators, get up and get vaccinated!

Nothing makes a reptile less rowdy than the flu. That’s why Alberta checked in with UF College of Nursing student Melissa Arias for her annual FluMist vaccination this fall. And thanks to a communitywide effort, she isn’t the only one protected from influenza. Arias and other community health nursing students and faculty members joined other UF students and faculty and local agencies to immunize thousands of children against the seasonal flu in Alachua County schools this year. We just hope Albert remembered his vaccination, too.
