Some pig!

A UF graduate and practicing veterinarian couldn’t kill the one pound handicapped pig that was brought to him for euthanasia. Instead, Len Lucero, D.V.M., decided to treat Chris P. Bacon like a human and made him a wheelchair out of child’s toys. He later received a formal wheelchair from a group called Handicappedpets.com. Turns out, a pig in a wheelchair is a perfect formula for a viral YouTube video. Lucero had received more than 1.5 million hits for the video of Bacon scooting about. The precious porcine also has 71,000 Facebook fans and more than 4,400 Twitter followers. Bacon has even sparked the production of an inspirational children’s book aimed at kids with special needs.
