The North Florida OT forum held a “Speed dating with an OT” event for students to learn about occupational therapy practice settings and meet local therapists.

On May 19, the North Central Florida Occupational Therapy Forum held “Speed Dating with an OT” at the HPNP Complex. Nearly 80 community practitioners, including 18 UF Health therapists, provided valuable insights about the occupational therapy profession to UF students. Various clinical settings were represented to demonstrate occupational therapy service delivery across the continuum of rehabilitation and mental health care, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and to showcase the profession’s contributions to patients’ overall health and well-being.
