Harry Potter is in the library (seriously)
Grab your books, wands and a glass of butterbeer; Harry Potter has arrived in Gainesville. The Health Science Center Library will play host to “Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance, Science, Magic and Medicine,” a traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine, through Oct. 6. Accompanying the exhibit is a variety of Potter-themed events, including screenings of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” and presentations by UF faculty on the science behind Hogwarts’s magic.
