A good day, a great cause

The College of Dentistry’s Annual Mighty Molar Picnic, held Sunday, Sept. 23 at Lake Wauburg, raised more than $2,200 for Smile Train, an international nonprofit program that provides cleft palate surgery for those in need. Five teams competed in four categories: impression making, egg toss, relay race and a tug of war. Congratulations goes to the D.M.D. class of 2013, which came in first in the competition. A team of faculty and members of the class of 2014 took second place, followed by the class of 2015, class of 2016, and a team of pre-dental students. The Mighty Molar Picnic is an annual University of Florida College of Dentistry event organized by the UF chapter of the American Student Dental Association.
