Leaders on the rise

Two veteran administrators at the UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville are stepping into new senior associate dean roles.

George R. “Skip” Wilson III, M.D., has been named senior associate dean for clinical affairs, overseeing the faculty practice plan. In addition, Guy I. Benrubi, M.D., will move from the clinical affairs role to senior associate dean for faculty affairs, where he will serve as a faculty facilitator on campus.

Wilson has been at the college 25 years and Benrubi for 31 years, so both have the knowledge and experience to help lead on campus, said Daniel R. Wilson, M.D., Ph.D., vice president of health affairs and dean of the UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville.
