The College of Public Health and Health Professions and the Rural South Public Health Training Center will host HIV prevention expert Myron Cohen, M.D., on Wednesday, Dec. 5 as part of the PHHP Distinguished Scholar Lecture Series and in recognition of World AIDS Day. Cohen is the associate vice chancellor for global health and the J. Herbert Bate distinguished professor of medicine, microbiology and immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His lecture “Transmission and Prevention of Transmission of Hiv: Where Do We Go From Here?” will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. in the HPNP Complex, Room G101. The lecture is free and open to the public.
