Is telemedicine right for your team?

An expert in telemedicine and telehealth, Adam William Darkins, M.B., Ch.B, M.P.H.M., M.D., F.R.C.S., will present the College of Nursing’s 2013 Rita Kobb Lectureship in Nursing Information and Technology at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 16 in the HPNP Complex, Room G101. The presentation, titled “Care Coordination: How Telehealth Provides the Right Care in the Right Place at the Right Time,” will “explore telehealth, describe components of a successful program, and identify critical population health care needs that justify establishing telehealth services.” Darkins is chief care consultant for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
