UF&Shands all-stars took their commitment to helping babies get healthy to the hoop in January as part of the Raising Hope at Work for Babies campaign. The event was part of a fundraiser to raise money for renovations to the Shands Hospital for Children’s neonatal intensive care unit. Making the full-court press at the event (from left) were Peggy Carney, David S. Guzick, M.D., Ph.D., David Burchfield, M.D., Irene Alexaitis, M.S.N., R.N., Scott Rivkees, M.D., Tim Goldfarb and Brad Pollitt.
