Volunteer for a good cause

Want to help patients in need? The UF Mobile Clinic provides free primary care, sexually transmitted disease testing and family planning four days a week and two evenings a week. Volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants work in interprofessional teams with clinic staff and UF Health Science Center students to provide care to more than 4,500 uninsured members of our community each year. The clinic operates on a limited budget and relies on extensive participation of volunteers. (This means you). Volunteer shifts are approximately four hours. To learn more, call Sherice Stewart at 352-273-5329. If you can’t volunteer but would like to make a donation, please make the check payable to: UF Foundation and in the memo section, please write Outreach Programs-Fund F018557.
