Hop aboard the smile train

The College of Dentistry’s American Student Dental Association raised $2,000 for Smile Train, an international organization that provides treatment for children with cleft palate, during its Annual Mighty Molar Picnic. More than 200 students, faculty and family members attended the picnic at UF ’s Lake Wauburg on Sept. 22 for food, fun and competitive games, such as tug-of-war, egg toss, wheelbarrow racing and a canoe race. The senior D.M.D. student team emerged victorious at the end of a rainy, muddy day.
