100 percent awesome
The UF College of Dentistry D.M.D. Class of 2014 achieved a 100 percent pass rate on Part II of the National Board Dental Exams. “We were thrilled when we learned the news and we couldn’t be more proud of the students’ performance on the exam,” said Venita Sposetti, D.M.D., the college’s associate dean for education. “Our DMD classes have earned a 100 percent pass on Part I of the national exams for five years running but no one is sure how long it’s been since a class achieved a 100 percent pass rate on Part II. However this has certainly raised the bar for the Class of 2015.” The purpose of the examinations is to assist state boards in determining qualifications of dentists who seek licensure to practice dentistry.
