East entrance update

On Feb. 1, the east entrance access to UF Health Shands Hospital (north campus) closed for further renovations. This temporary closure will allow construction teams to continue work on the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Plans include creating a new two-story pavilion entrance, a new façade and a dedicated lobby to create a welcoming space for UF Health’s youngest patients and their families. The east entrance will remain closed through June until renovations are completed. Access to UF Health Shands Hospital is available via the front circle of the hospital. Valet parking is available and a new walkway along the south side of the MRI building is in place.
