Under construction

Starting Nov. 3 through the new year, construction teams will prepare the south campus for the building of the UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital and the UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital. The area east of the UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital, from the surface parking lot down to Southwest 13th Street, will be fenced off and closed to vehicle and foot traffic.

Patient parking

South campus patients and their visitors are encouraged to use valet parking in the cancer hospital front circle, which is free with a voucher. Self parking is available across Archer Road in the north campus east patient/visitor garage on Newell Drive. This is also free with a voucher. All other visitors pay $10 to park in the patient/visitor garage or $13 for valet parking. Emergency patients and those transporting them can use free valet parking at E.R. entrances.

Staff

Staff are asked not to use the hospital front circles and E.R. drives for staff pick-up and drop-off. Staff will continue to park in the south campus staff parking garage. However, access to this garage will change and staff may need to walk a different route across the south campus.
