As a responsible health care organization, we are committed to providing the highest-quality medical care and preventing disease. We strive to provide a safe, clean, healthy and welcoming environment for everyone who seeks care or works on our campuses. We have policies in place that help us reinforce safe and healthy behaviors. Here’s a quick reminder:
- We do not permit smoking or the use of tobacco products on our campuses. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars and smokeless tobacco.
- We prohibit the presence and use of illicit/illegal drugs and alcohol on our campuses.
- We also prohibit the presence and use of knives, guns or other weapons on our campuses.
Our policies apply to our faculty, staff, students and volunteers as well as our patients and visitors. Thank you for your support. Please access resources on the new UF Health Bridge site: bridge.UFHealth.org/tobacco-contraband-free.
