Veterinary medicine 40th anniversary kicks off

January marked the kick-off of the College of Veterinary Medicine’s 40th anniversary and what will be a full year of celebratory activities commemorating the event. The college held an internal gathering on Jan. 7 for faculty, staff and students, followed by an anniversary-themed alumni reception Jan. 17
in Orlando at the North American Veterinary Conference.

Hundreds gathered for the occasion, including several emeritus faculty members of the college and members of the charter class, the first class of graduates who received their D.V.M.
degree from UF.
