Vet students help children and make friends for life

The Alpha Psi Fraternity chapter at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine joined other donors in the community to provide 350 gift packs for children being treated at the UF Health Shands Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic through WUFT-TV’s Best Friends for Life Book Buddy program. The packs included an activity book, crayons, a pencil and a read-aloud book of popular PBS children’s programs. Stop Children’s Cancer provided 250 of the packs and the remaining 100 had a sponsor card with the donor’s name.
