Anna Hoffman is the director of communications for the University of Florida College of Nursing. Anna is responsible for management and oversight of the college’s strategic communications, public relations and marketing programs. She is the managing editor of The Gator Nurse magazine, manages the college’s social media efforts and maintains the college’s website. Anna has been with the College of Nursing since 2011, serving as the public relations and alumni affairs coordinator before moving to the advancement team as the assistant and then associate director of development and alumni affairs. She holds a master’s degree in mass communications with a concentration in health/science communication and a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in health education, both from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. Before serving at the College of Nursing, she wrote and edited for various newspapers and magazines around the area.
