Snuff it out

Two years ago, UF&Shands went tobacco-free together. To ensure we maintain a tobacco-free environment, security personnel at the Health Science Center and Shands properties are reminding faculty, employees, residents, volunteers and vendors not to use tobacco on campus. If you are seen smoking or using tobacco you will be asked to extinguish your product or move off property immediately. Staff and volunteers will be asked to provide their name and ID badge number, which will be reported to the relevant Employee Relations office and the individual’s supervisor. For more information about these rules and guidelines or to learn about the resources UF and Shands provides to help people quit smoking, visit intranet.ahc.ufl.edu/ahc/tobaccoFree.
