Discussing disparities

The Student National Medical Association, or SNMA, has organized a lecture series on health disparities and the special health needs of minority populations. Upcoming speakers include a lecture from Rebecca Pauly, M.D., associate vice president for health affairs, at noon Oct. 17. Alba Burns, M.D., a clinical associate professor in the College of Public Health and Health Professions, will speak at noon Oct. 24. Joseph Tyndall, M.D., M.P.H., chair of the department of emergency medicine, will speak at noon Nov. 5, and Carolyn M.
